The new third generation Toyota Vios has been launched in Thailand, n it is going to launch in Malaysia next week...
it come with three variants, which is 1.5E, 1.5G, and 1.5S... The estimated price for 1.5E is RM80,800.00, 1.5G RM86,900.00, 1.5S RM90,100.00 for east Malaysia.
For the size of new Vios, it only increase a little bit compared to previous model. See what's the difference between previous model n new Vios.. Overall length from 4285mm increased to 4300mm(+15mm), overall width from 1695mm to 1700mm(+5mm), overall height from 1435mm to 1460mm(+25mm).
The new Vios increased by 125kg-140kg.. wheelbase from 2500mm to 2550mm, which increase in the rear leg room as well.

The engine for new Vios still the same as the 1 used in previous model, which is 1NZ-FE. However, improvements have been made to enhance low and midrange torque and among the improvements is the redesign of the air intake and exhaust system n rated Euro Step4.
The new Vios interior space is bigger than previous model n trunk capacity increase by 75litre.(Previous model is 400litre).
What's the difference between new n previous model for interior n equipments? for new 1.5E come standard with ABS, EBD, and BA, printed antenna, personal lamp(front), passenger side vanity mirror, 60:40 split foldable rear seat, gate-type shift level, driver seat belt buzzer. Thing that downgrade is the manual adjustable wing mirror for 1.5E model.

For 1.5G variant, the main different is the front 15" ventilated disc brake, retractable wing mirror, steering with audio switch, side turn indicator on wing mirror.
GOA body constructionFor 1.5S model, it come equiped with Aerokit, Multi information Display(MID), Optitron meter.

better and nicer design of Vios, old Vios not that nice and small, expecially internal looks normal. But this is nicer..
hehe.. when looked on the ads felt not so nice.. but when you look the real 1, it's quite nice and good quality especially for S type..
